Abbott Street String Band
The Abbott Street String Band began informally during the COVID lockdowns of 2020 - 2022.
The group of local old-time players started playing at outside porch jams to help themselves and others through that isolating time… the group has continued to meet and play old time tunes ever since.
Featuring acoustic instruments such as banjos, fiddles, and guitars; Abbott Street String Band grooves on the melodies of traditional fiddle tunes, dances, and reels.
